An apology is a formal justification or defense of a position.
With as much hype as Halo 3 got, it's hard to be anything but overrated. It is a pretty quality game, although it has it's issues. I like it, it's just, you know... overrated. However, there is a chance that multiplayer will redeem it, in which case I may change my vote.
A great majority of people here whom believes Halo 3 was overrated makes me no longer feel like the disgruntled minority when it comes down to opinions. As an avid gamer, the first Halo was astounding but the last two iterations, Halo 2 and Halo 3 were not to grand. This is about Halo 3 so I will mention that the campaign did not answer any questions of the plot. The game play was been-there-done -that with little changed. This is a rental for me.
