An apology is a formal justification or defense of a position.
Many sequels don't deliver. They just add levels and weapons in the hopes of a better game. Super Smash Bros. Melee is not one of these games. It deserves the praise that it gets through innovation and improvement as well as maintaining a respectable balance.
