Am looking forward to Guillermo del Toro's take on the prequel to LOTR, due out in 2012; "The Hobbit." Masterful direction with many different storylines you must make an effort to keep up with.
This movie was a complete waste of my time, and it basically bored me to tears...i really did try to read the books and watch the movie because it came so highly rated by friends...but i guess i just cant get into hobbits. I also cannot grasp what im supposed to be getting out of a movie like this either.
Don't see why any of the Lord of the Rings should be considered 'overrated'. There were so many different parts to these movies that pushed your emotions - decisively - towards the finale, and after the entire journey, they rewarded you with a satisfying ending.
