Don't listen to the haters or the fanboys. Listen to the people who actually sat down and watched it without prejudice, like me. Never having read the original series before reading the books...I saw this one day at home. What followed was actually a decent flick. Sure there are way better romances, but I admired Catherine Hardwicke's attempt to bring Stephanie Meyer's teen-vampire love story to the cinema. Acting faltered with its two main actors, but the supporting cast were fantastic. Visuals were a bit on the gruff side but come on, we're not going for the Matrix here. Sit down with an open mind and you'll find that Twilight has something for everybody.
