Having just listened to Houses of the Holy I came to this revelation that Jimmy Page is deeply underrated. It kicks off with The Song Remains the Same and then goes into The Rain Song and then into Over the Hills and Far Away. All VERY Strong guitar-centric pieces. Because he was with the group I think his talent gets more overlooked as opposed to the Claptons and Hendrixes who are considered more on a solo level. He is more of a composer than a song writer kind of like Townsend but more varied. It could be everyone around him made him better and that's why there isn't a lot of Page solo stuff out there. But while he was with them he sure played the shit out of that thing

Jason Mraz - His songs are unoriginal

Eric Clapton - Page does circles around Clapton...creatively, stylistically, and even on the fundamental blues level. Listen to "Since I've Been Lovin' You"…

    The Doors - Highly overrated

Hall & Oates - Look past the glam. Their music is a lot deeper than many people think, especially the album cuts. Well, Daryl…

The Doors - Very original band, with the baritone voice, amazing music. RIGHT NOW they are very underrated.
