If Cobain was alive today, Nirvana would be a footnote in music history, hey would've died off with grunge, but since their untalented frontman died young, he's become a martyr for pretentious hipsters for generations to come.
Nirvana WERE a good band. Stop talking about Nevermind and listen to In Utero, for once. Damn great record. Much more mature and dark than Nevermind. Kurt WAS a good songwriter, and while he wasn't the most talented guitar player, he knew how to rock the shit out of it. Just listen to Live at Reading.
I don't hate nirvana nor Cobain, but for Lucifer's Sake they're the most overrated band ever, they weren't that great, and Cobain's fanboys are scum, with the "Courtney killed Kurt" rubbish and I'm not a strong fan of Hole, but conspiracies are for morons!
I can't listen to them anymore. There just isn't a right moment to enjoy them anymore
