Graceland and The Rhythm of the Saints are two incredible albums. P.S. - You can call me Al!
    What brilliant lyrics. What humanity.
I think people who know praise but there are people who just aren't aware of him.
Words cannot describe how important Paul Simon is to popular music. Aside from Lennon and McCartney, there is no one who has crafted so many "I get it" songs, songs that you instantly get what the songwriter was trying to say. He is a towering figure whose songs are as fresh today as they were 40 years ago. He is a master. Plain and simple.
Old Simon & Garfunkel songs still hold up on my ipod next to any newer artist.

Jason Mraz - His songs are unoriginal

Eric Clapton - Page does circles around Clapton...creatively, stylistically, and even on the fundamental blues level. Listen to "Since I've Been Lovin' You"…

    The Doors - Highly overrated

Hall & Oates - Look past the glam. Their music is a lot deeper than many people think, especially the album cuts. Well, Daryl…

The Doors - Very original band, with the baritone voice, amazing music. RIGHT NOW they are very underrated.
