Write an apology
An apology is a formal justification or defense of a position.
It's unfortunate they don't get the props they deserve. Every famous hip hop act out today owes a debt to Public Enemy.
While I like the musical direction of many Hip Hop artists I think PE contributed mostly to hatred and an angry sense of entitlement.
Although I don't think of PE as hip-hop, just straight rap there's no doubt on their influence. They rapped about a side of the story that was blunt, angry and not well-represented largely in music at the time.
