While i think that most people who hear the band would agree that they are quite good it is unfortunate that they did not have as much influence on later music as their contemporaries like jimi hendrix and led zepplin did. While hendrix and zepplin are great in their own right it seems that they have only inspired other bands to play really loud and fast and sing about drugs and sex. The band, in my opinion covered very different types of materials in their lyrics and the composition of the music than loud fast shredding. Because of that i think it would be more to hear bands incfluenced by the band than by zepplin.

Jason Mraz - His songs are unoriginal

Eric Clapton - Page does circles around Clapton...creatively, stylistically, and even on the fundamental blues level. Listen to "Since I've Been Lovin' You"…

    The Doors - Highly overrated

Hall & Oates - Look past the glam. Their music is a lot deeper than many people think, especially the album cuts. Well, Daryl…

The Doors - Very original band, with the baritone voice, amazing music. RIGHT NOW they are very underrated.
