Here is a list of bands. System of a Down, Blink 182, OutKast, Phil Anselmo (Pantera), No Doubt. What do they all have in common? Well at first you'd think, not much at all. One is a hardcore heavy metal band, one is a punk-pop band, one is a rap group, one is a heavy metal frontman and the other is a ska group. Well they are all from the US. But they are also all influenced by The Smiths. Yes, even Andre 3000 and Phil Anselmo. Fact. How can a 80's English Indie rock band influence these diverse artists all the way in the United States? Because The Smiths were and are amazing. And in their home country they influenced every Britpop band of the nineties. Fact.

Jason Mraz - His songs are unoriginal

Eric Clapton - Page does circles around Clapton...creatively, stylistically, and even on the fundamental blues level. Listen to "Since I've Been Lovin' You"…

    The Doors - Highly overrated

Hall & Oates - Look past the glam. Their music is a lot deeper than many people think, especially the album cuts. Well, Daryl…

The Doors - Very original band, with the baritone voice, amazing music. RIGHT NOW they are very underrated.
