I used to listen to A Prairie Home Companion. But it then got to be Garrison Keillor Inc.--upon which the show jumped the shark. (That was the time that Keillor decided to "retire". Actually, I think he was looking for attention.) Since that time, I have avoided Prairie Home, Keillor and subsequently public radio altogether.
Seriously, APHC is right on when it comes to small town midwest lifestyles! Don't knock it til you've tried it!
