I hate them but, they do have the most world series wins than any other team so by default you can't say they're overrated.

They won 26 world championships, all of which were pretty legit up until the late seventies/early eighties. Now they are a joke, and their last one should be wiped from league records because A.Fraud is a proven cheater. Frankly, there should absolutely be salary caps in baseball, otherwise the American League and the Northeast will be constantly superior.

I hate the Yankees. Regardless of their historical standing they are now everything that's wrong with baseball.

Want to know how to spend more on one position player than the Brewers spend on their entire roster and yet still not make it out of the first round of the playoffs if you make it at all? Ask the yankees.

Not only are they overrated, I don't think they're even going to make the playoffs in 2006. I think the dinosaur is now extinct.
