The baseball world was disapponted because the Cardinals won 83 games in 2006. Now I'm certainly not a White Sox fan, but the White Sox won 90 games and didn't even make the playoffs. I agree with mduncan here. E-1 World Series and the Cardinals overrated.

There are very few players/people in the Cardinals organization who are responisble for the WS title coming to St. Louis. I think there are more Detroit Tiger pitchers responsible for the Cards winning than any employee of the Cardinals organization. It is the E-1 World Series; a victory should never be remembered by the losing team. We can only wait until next season to know the true cahmpion of baseball.

You can't just say that "White Sox are the true champs," Mike. Sure, the White Sox are a great team, but on the discussion conerning if the Cardinals are over or underrated, it is obvious that outside of St. Louis, the Cardinals are underrated. They won the World Series... and the baseball world is disappointed? What else do they need to do?
