Overpriced way overpriced

The reasons for my dislike of Apple are seemingly tied to the fan base. The generally holier then thou attitude of an Apple user is greatly off putting but I would say this is only the fan base and not hold it against the company. Then one realizes that the company (Or at least the advertising wing) is like this, or at least is putting forth that image. From their commercials showing the PC as a slovenly business man, to the treatment of each new release as if it were advancing human history Apple is a company that oozes elitism.
